The Gold's May Prayer Letter

Happy May Day, to all my Czech family!!!! And to all the world!!!

Dear praying friends, Thank you praying for Karen and I thru April. What an exhausting, hilarious, powerful time in Czech, Nigeria and Indiana. God was so good and people so kind. (Except for the 1 airline that changed my flight to a day earlier and didn’t tell me! But God again was bigger than the airline and I was rerouted and sat next to a Swiss evangelist that encouraged my soul.)

Please pray for

• Nigeria: 6 regions of the Christian Evangelical Fellowship of Nigeria are hosting youth outreaches for the first time in May. Pray for clear presentation of the Gospel and salvations and encouragement to those youth groups. (This is the training we did in April)

• For many youth groups as they finalize their summer mission plans. I have 4 grandkids going on mission trips this summer and a 5th waiting for acceptance to Bible school in September. God is good.

• For Karen’s family as they bury her mother on May 19.

• For a church in the Twin Cities that I am trying to help navigate what has developed into a heated staff problem, larger than the offense.

• For my home church in New Prague that is AGAIN in a search for a pastor.

• We have several hard, important conversations with grandkids and kids about grandkids this month. We need wisdom and to know God’s will.

• AND always, at 72 I am trying to figure out my rhythm in ministry and marriage and fathering and grandfathering and spiritual life.
