Mark & Karen Prayer Letter - August 2026

Dear prayers, 

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayer, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people....(ITim. 2:1A)

Well, I don't know about all people (I was convicted) but thank you for praying for me last month.  The only time I spoke was at the Scott County Fair and the joy of bragging about Jesus in a  non religious environment was so "what i was created for"! I was thrillied as people paused to listen to the Gospel in between cheese curds and classic cars.

Thank you for praying for my July goals. I batted .250.

In August I would like to pick up all 4 goals again.

• August 3 I record a podcast for Jamie Mitchell on prayer. It will air on Aug 4 at noon on the App or website Standinthegapmedia.org

• August 4 Karen flies home to NY.

• August 12-18 I drive round trip to pick up Karen in NY.

• Aug. 16 I get to preach at my home church in Brushton, NY. Pray for the Pastor, Nate, as he continues to bravely face cancer.

• Aug. 27-Sept. 8 Nigeria and Gambia to train youth pastors.

Lots of prayer time driving.....how can i pray for you?
