Student Link January Newsletter

Peggy Allan

Sonlife DCON Conference – Had an awesome week with the Student Link Team down in Florida.  They were amazing how they jumped in to help, engaged in conversations and participated at the training.  Very successful week also with sharing about Student Link to people at the conference.  We had at least 5 people take books to start groups.  Also was able to set up a speaking opportunity for Rick.

Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth. For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord!
Psalms 117

Student Link in Honduras is exploding.  So excited to see God take this material and multiply it.  Kelly and her 3 lovely ladies continue to meet.  One lady even quit her job to keep coming. Please pray God will bless her for her continued pursuit of Him. Street Kids ministry will be using the materials and Sandra is starting a group with the Solheim’s volunteers.

Student Link Location has moved to my house.  We had our first two events – First, morning prayer on Wednesdays for High School students from 6:30am-7:30am. We had 1 student come – YEAH.  May God double it each time.  Second event was “South of the River – Youth Ministry Gathering” where we are inviting the Youth Leaders to come for community, prayer and tools to help their ministry (the 4th Thursday of each month).  We had 2 leaders attend.  Again pray for God to double each time.

Praises & Prayer

We have so much to be thankful for. God is using Student Link materials in mighty ways.  May His kingdom continue to grow. Praises also for an incredible group of young adults excited to lead their own groups.

Please pray for:

  • New Student Link location and wisdom in this area.

  • Growth in our Wed. prayer meeting and SOR-YM gatherings.

  • Looking at creating new materials for new believers.  Pray that God will write it once again through me.

  • Sonlife has 2 new presidents starting February.  Pray for transition to go well and for clear understanding of my role & responsibility.
