Mark & Karen July 2025 Prayer Letter

This morning I began I Cor. In my quiet time….and you were there!

“I give thanks to my God always for YOU because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge, even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you so that you are not lacking in any gift as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end.”

Oh dear friends, thank you for June’s prayer. I love Jesus and I love telling people about him and I got to do a lot of that in June.

Please PRAY….

• July 2-14 Karen and I and a team from Friendship Church go to Letovice, Czech to help with English camps, sports camps and dance camps. I will preach, teach, tell stories, encourage, and love my friends and new friends in Letovice. (I turned down the offer to lead the dance class.)

• July 14 I come home. Karen is in Czech with the team for 4 more days and then returns on the 17.

• July 27 I speak at the Scott County Fair Church service. Usually 20-40 people who are working or early attenders. The music is great and occasionally we will have people come that are just curious.

• July 29-Aug2 I am in Lake Geneva for a Chicago Chinese Christian Church teen camp. These are some of my favorite kids. Most of them are growing Christians but they always do a great job of bringing friends. The staff from their churches are God lovers!
