Mark & Karen's October 2025 Newsletter

Good morning, Dear Prayers,

Thank you so much for covering Karen and I in prayer this past month. We have just returned from a Sonlife staff meeting in the Gatlinburg. The leaders wisely chose a mountain top cabin so we weren’t tempted to run to “sight see”. (ok we did a little as a staff.) Mostly we met with God and each other.

Karen and I then went to Corbin, Ky. That is where my mother’s family is from and buried. We attended  the church where I first heard the Gospel as a little boy. Thank you for all your prayers this past month.

Tomorrow……the pigs go to the butcher. A week from Friday the steers go to the butcher. Always a time of stress. Pray that the creator will influence those animals in the trailer and off the trailer at exactly the right moment. Really this is so fun to pray about. The man I buy the steers from had never heard of praying for this and even asks me to pray now as we load them.

Please pray for friends who just went into the mountains in Haiti with lots of stuff for an orphanage. Please pray for their safety and satisfied hearts as they love their children.

Please pray for our family in the Philippines. They were directly hit by last Saturday’s hurricane. They are housing 5 families that lost their homes. Several of the people in those families have come to Christ. The church is the center of relief for this village.

We have 2 African pastors living in our home this week. Pray that we will be a haven of Christ for them.

Oct. 11 Karen and her women’s team are leading a woman’s retreat for our church.

Oct. 12- 23 I am in Vijayawada India for Pastors, believers, womens and youth conference. Please pray for travel safety and health and the power of the Holy Spirit in ministry.

Pray for Karen and family at home.
