For the final week of July, I joined the youth group in Madison, WI for a mission trip with YWAM. Each person grew as we all dove into Christ's calling of leaving it all behind for the kingdom. The trip was filled with a combination of evangelism and service projects that showcased all the ways God works within a community. We began our first day with a downtown scavenger hunt that introduced evangelism conversations. I enjoyed watching many students actively share their faith and was even more encouraged by others who said they wouldn’t miss another opportunity God places before them because of their own fears. The next day, we continued with conversations on the streets while also delivering bagged lunches to many homeless in the area. Our week then transitioned and focused more on service projects. The group I was with went to a summer daycare at a low-income housing center that housed mainly Muslim refugees where we could not bring up faith. It was impactful for the students to practice being a light to people without using words as they had been doing the days before. To start our final full day in Madison, we went on a prayer walk. We created a game during the interim times of walking by asking the students to list attributes of God from A-Z. It was such a powerful way to be present in adoration of our Creator in the

entirety of the prayer time. Later that day, we cleaned three storage units holding children's bedding and beds given to kids sleeping on floors. The owner of the nonprofit said they access the storage unit frequently as they serve 6-7 kids a month with beds and bedding. It was a successful and memorable trip seeing these students spend the time with their friends, mentors, and soaking in God's promises.

GRINDSTONE CAMP

I am a guest speaker for mission chapel at camp tomorrow. Pray as I talk about upcoming Czech missions and for God to use the words to be an encouragement.
