Student link sept 2025 newsletter

Two amazing trips in September.  I’m amazed as what God leads me to do. 

First trip was with the amazing Rekindle team to Letovice Czech.  This was a rock star week of serving well in their community. We ran English classes in the morning, helped with Club time in the afternoon and had great adventures along the way. Thank you all who contributed financially and prayerfully for this trip.  Our mission is to rekindle what was started in July, and we were successful.  The first club dates had less than 20 kids attending.  The week after we were there, they had over 50 kids. We shared the Gospel through our testimony and teachings.  May God continue to be glorified is all they are doing.

My second trip was to Tennessee with the Sonlife team. What an amazing group of men whose main focus is on Jesus.  I am always stretched and encouraged when this team gets together.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praises.

Our focus in Student Link is kicking off things in October.  We will be hosing a “Breakfast Club” Fridays for High School Students to encourage, pray and feed them before they head to school.  We will also be kicking off Student Link groups at both Friendship Church campus Oct. 22^nd. Shakopee will be lead by the High School students who have been through the materials.

Praise & Prayers

• Praises: Czech trip was amazing.

• Prayer: October 22^nd kick-off to be filled with students hungry to follow Jesus at both campuses.  Students will be leading it in Shakopee.

• Prayer: Breakfast Club - students from the area will stop in to check it out. 

• Prayer: Currently have 2 groups I’m leading through SL, that they would finish strong and begin to disciple others.

• Prayer: Student link young adult team would come together.
