February was a month of getting to serve and meet with many individuals sharing about Student Link. The Student Link Team served well at the Friendship Church Palooza. Love working with these young adults.
I continue to have the awesome pleasure of meeting with Eva and Liah on a weekly basis. Two incredible ladies.
Still on search for a SL location. I keep reminding myself that God’s timing is perfect. In the meantime we are hosting things at my house. SOR-YM gathering (talked about last newsletter) continue to have great support from Friendship Church. Hoping April brings other churches. If not, we will need to re-evaluate.
Wednesday mornings we gather at the early hour of 6:30am to pray for the high school students. We have a few Friendship Church HS students that join us. We have started to “go to them” by going to the 6:50am JR High stop and then the 7:30am HS Stop. It is fun to love on these students in the small way of a donut.
Isaiah 40:31 states, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint,"
Missions weekend at FC went very well. We had a great turn out at the Expo and conversations at our display tables. And the best part was getting to catch up with Pavlik and Matz. Rekindle in September is going to be amazing.
