January 2022 Prayer

Dear Prayers……

I am not retiring. Please pray for clarity for people as I have done a poor job communicating plans for 2022. I am slowing down. This week I made plans for a trip to Haiti, Sierra Leone (to begin a new School of Youth Ministry) and Liberia in February and March.

Please pray for visas to the last 2 countries and wisdom to travel thru covid to all 3.

Since 1755 on New Years Day the Methodists pray this Covenant prayer:

I am no longer my own, but Yours.

Put me to what you will, rank me with whom you will:

Put me to doing, put me to suffering:

Let me be employed for you , or laid aside for you,

Exalted for you, or brought low for you;

Let me be full, Let me be empty, Let me have all things, Let me have nothing;

I freely and wholeheartedly yield all things to your pleasure and disposal.

And now, glorious and blessed God,

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

You are mine and I am yours. So be it.

And the covenant now made on earth, let it be ratified in Heaven.

Please pray in January:

Jan. 2,3,6,10,13,17,20,24,27 for prayer mtgs. that Karen and I are guiding.

Jan. 7-9 I am speaking at a youth retreat at Miracle Bible Camp.

Karen’s 3 women’s Bible studies begin this week Jan. 5.
