GLP - Mark & Karen's April Prayer Letter
Dear prayers,
Psalm 34 is a great Psalm to pray thru, verse by verse. You will smile and cry.
Sunday, I had the privilege of standing before 40-50 High School and College students and speak on the topic the Christian response to current culture shifts. I’m sharing the teaching time with Mike Golay!!!!! Pray for clarity.
For the next 2 ½ weeks I get to enjoy “normalness” at home with my wife and ministry.
On April 19-May 1 I get to be with some of my favorite people in the world in Letovice, Czech. Please pray for travel safety and health. Please pray for clarity in teaching and encouraging.
Thank you so much for praying for our daily bread. Karen and I are amazed at the generosity of the people who the Holy Spirit impresses and then uses to supply our daily bread.
Caution story ahead…… I have promised these prayer letters would just be prayer letters but someone asked me to include stories to encourage your prayers…..
3 weeks ago Karen and I went to Turkey to see and learn about the multiplication of the church in the book of Acts. Our luggage didn’t make it. For 4 days Karen and I wore the same clothes. You would have been so proud of Karen she never complained. On the 4th day I broke my tooth and had to go to a Turkish dentist. Hahahaha. When I got back, the hotel said your luggage is not coming, you need to go back into the city and buy clothes. Karen and I went back and bought enough to make it 5 more days. When we returned to the motel our luggage was there!!!!! Karen walked right down the hall to an African gals room. She was the only other of the 270 attendees who didn’t have her luggage. Without even taking her new clothes out of the bag, Karen gave them to the African gal. I have a great wife!
Thank you for praying.
